  • This is a good thing for those able to use allotments and perhaps there could be somewhere in the centre of Abergele where surplus crops could be sold to give those unable to grow there own to buy them and the money could go back to the growers for the next crops.

  • Once Abergele allotments are established, could there be a community plot with a scheme selling the produce back to the locals?
If a street market was re introduced the scheme could be provided with a stall.
Involving young people or people trying to get back into work, would give some work / business experience.

  • At present I have an allotment in Colwyn Bay, at Nant y Glyn Road, So to have allotments in Abergele would be great.
1.They do not have to be or have all mod cons like Bryn Euryn
2.At a reasonable rent not over the top.
3.Clear guide lines as to what is expected of allotment holders.

  • Depends on location.

  • Very good idea, I know it has been promised in the past and never happened. It would encourage a valuable skill to be able to provide own fresh produce and make good use of waste ground.
