  • The library is a great asset to the town, I use it often either for books or to read the papers. Could do with a spruce up on the outside, but inside is fine and have found the staff a great help always. Parking is a bit of a problem at times as the car park is always full.

  • Thousands of pounds was spent on bringing the library to the 21st century. It looks fantastic for a small town, although I think the exterior could do with a bit of adapting. It was built in 1969,
with architecture of that period. Abergele is an 'historic'
town, if there is anything historic apart from the church left,
but the library exterior is not in keeping with the rest of the town, surprised Planning Dept havent stepped in sooner.

  • Improvements, if any are needed, would be welcomed as way to secure the future of the library and its services to Abergele.

  • Not keen on modern libraries, they have no heart. I prefer a definite "in" and "out" type with lots of busy shelving. I find the library staff are often not manning the desk and when they do they haven't a clue or care who to serve next, as the desk is so big a queue doesn't form. There seems to be more space in the room than useful shelving and information. The exterior looks OK to me, for a modern building anyway.
