The high street needs more varied shops, local traders with local items, independent shops could make Abergele a thriving market town.  All that is available at the moment are beauty shops, hairdressers and charity shops.

  I fully agree. When I came to live here over 40 years ago Abergele was a lovely bustling market town where you could buy anything you wanted without having to travel out of town. At the last count we have 18 eating places (inc.pubs,cafes etc.)9 Hairdressers, 5 Estate Agents,3 beauty shops and worst of all a gym in the ex Woolworths store (an eyesore)whoever gave permission for that? We need more variety to attract people to spend their money here.
