There is a shortfall of open space and major leisure provision - there is a need for a new football pitch and changing rooms/facilities.

  There needs to be more open spaces for young people to play and hang out. The no ball game areas need to be removed on the Tan y gopa estate as we should be encouraging Young people to be active and healthy not discouraging then and letting the grass over grow. There is no where for young people to play sports on the tan y gopa estate. Obesity is a growing concern in wales. Young people do not always want to use designated parks it's important that there are open spaces for them to do as they wish.
  While having wildlife areas are important I feel that these should not come at a price for young people .

  When our young are increasingly obese and parents are paranoid about letting children play in the parks why do we have "No Ball Games " signs on open spaces near homes? We , as older folk kicked a ball about near our homes with no restrictions.

  Yes football facilities are needed.
